Your roleWe are looking for a Legal Counsel who will provide support for contracts, commercial laws, regulatory matters and legal advice across the EMEA region and globally (global contracts negotiated from HQ). The resource will be mainly dedicated to serving:
- Sourcing Team & Indirect Procurement teams, R&D Frames team, by drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial, procurement, logistics, services contracts and similar, NDAs, etc.
- R&D/Engineering/Quality team, by providing legal advice on regulatory matters (medical devices, PPE, clinical trials/investigations, eHealth, telemedicine etc.), H&S, environmental etc., and drafting related contracts and documents.
The candidate will be based in Agordo offices and shall collaborate with the other colleagues belonging to the Operations legal team, located in Agordo, Milano and Paris.
Main responsibilities- Sourcing and procurement contracts – Review, draft and negotiate services and purchasing agreements, logistics/global forwarding services and other commercial contracts.
- R&D – Review, draft and negotiate development agreement, collaboration agreement, etc.
- Regulatory – Legal advice on regulatory matters, medical devices, PPE, review, draft and negotiate agreements and other documentation related to regulatory area.
- General support – Legal support to the rest of the Ops legal team and internal clients on various legal matters, support in organizing and providing trainings, drafting templates, drafting intercompany agreements, NDAs etc.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial law, along with basic expertise in regulatory matters and demonstrated experience in sourcing and procurement contracts, is a mandatory requirement.
- Knowledge of medical devices regulation and experience in a life science practice area in law firm is a strong plus taken into account.
