We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our Commercial Roll-up Door (and accompanying scopes) construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. This role provides full ownership of project performance, including safety, schedule, budget, quality, and client satisfaction.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader and strategic problem-solver who can manage complex projects, build lasting client relationships, and guide internal teams to successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Manage projects from pre-construction through final closeout
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and staffing
- Oversee contracts, project costs and material procurement
- Monitor progress and proactively resolve issues to maintain commitments
- Ensure compliance with plans, specifications, safety standards, and company procedures
- Identify and oversee risk management
- Consult with Field Superintendent to provide field/product and application expertise
- Serve as primary point of contact for owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners
- Lead owner/architect/contractor meetings and provide regular reporting
- Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
- Build trusted client relationships and deliver exceptional service
- Anticipate needs and drive solutions that support long‑term partnerships
- Prepare sales reports and forecasts
- Drive projects to meet or exceed profit and margin targets
- Work closely with field teams for project execution
- Work with accounting to initiate project invoicing
- Lead, mentor, and develop office support staff
- Promote accountability, collaboration, and high performance
- Foster a culture of safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement
- Identify opportunities for repeat and new business
- Provide turnover documentation, warranties, and final reconciliations
- Ensure timely project completion and client satisfaction
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 6–10+ years of commercial construction project management experience
- Proven success delivering projects on schedule and within budget
- Proficient in management of contracts, scheduling, and budget creation/management
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Proficient in plan review and project take‑offs
- Strong work ethic
- Experience managing large or complex commercial projects
- Experience in Commercial Roll‑up Doors project management
