Orbit Brokers, a subsidiary of Atlas Van Lines Canada, is seeking a proactive, motivated, and dynamic Rater/Customs Coordinator. The ideal candidate possesses excellent customer service skills and a strong understanding of customs and logistics.

• Review invoices, manifests, and other documents for conformity to customs and corporate regulations.
• Data entry of commercial invoices into the Customs Operating system.
• Obtain customs paperwork by calling clients when required.
• Verify documentation for rating compliance.
• Prepare and submit release packages to Canada Border Services Agency.
• Provide customer service as required.
• Process entries to meet company and C-BSA compliance standards.

Full-time position.

Work hours:

9:00 am–5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

• Post-secondary education preferred and 1+ years of related experience required.
• Experience with MS Office database, Excel, and Word required.
• Experience with Cadena beneficial.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Familiar with transportation documentation and manifesting requirements (all modes).
• Basic knowledge of customs clearance process (all modes).
• Knowledge of HS coding.
• Accurate data entry skills with typing skills 60 wpm.
