Are you a Law Clerk or Paralegal with an appointment as a Notary Public and a strong background in Real Estate? We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Discharge Specialist. In this role, you will play a critical part in the mortgage lifecycle, ensuring that loan discharges are executed, notarized, and registered correctly across multiple provinces.

Base Salary Range: $50,400 - $80,650 Annual

Required Experience:

Law Clerk/Paralegal diploma, Notary Public appointment (LSO), and Real Estate background.

Responsibilities
Execute and notarize legal documents within established timelines for multiple provinces.

Review, interpret, and analyze property titles, providing expert options for resolution of discrepancies.

Ensure all discharges are completed correctly and registered in accordance with specific Provincial Requirements.

Respond to internal and external customer inquiries via multiple mediums, maintaining high standards of customer centricity.

Perform administrative duties including quality checking of documents and document preparation.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of corporate policies, lender procedures, and provincial signing requirements.

Participate in the design, implementation, and delivery of internal training programs.

Qualifications

Education:

Law Clerk or Paralegal diploma is required.

Legal Authority:
Must be an appointed Notary Public in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario (LSO).

Experience:

Proven background in Real Estate transactions and document execution.

Analytical

Skills:

Ability to analyze complex property titles and solve problems independently.

Communication:
Strong verbal and written communication skills for dealing with diverse stakeholders.

Independence: A team player who is self-motivated and can work effectively with minimal supervision.
