The Coordinator, Equipment & Asset Management plays a key role in supporting hospital operations through the coordination of preventative maintenance programs, equipment and furniture services, asset management activities, and administrative functions. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors, the Coordinator helps ensure hospital equipment and assets are maintained safely, efficiently, and in accordance with organizational standards.

  • Coordinate and oversee the EAM preventative maintenance (PM) program for hospital equipment and rolling stock, including scheduling, tracking, and reporting activities.
  • Maintain equipment inventories, asset records, and preventative maintenance schedules within the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
  • Coordinate equipment and furniture repairs, service requests, warranty work, and maintenance activities across hospital sites.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external vendors to ensure timely and effective service delivery.
  • Monitor work orders and maintenance activities, ensuring quality standards, response times, and compliance with organizational policies.
  • Support equipment and furniture-related projects, including procurement, installations, and site coordination.
  • Prepare reports, maintain documentation, and provide administrative support to the Equipment & Asset Management team.
  • Deliver training and support to team members on equipment management systems and processes.
  • Assist with departmental operations, including meeting coordination, record management, process improvements, payroll entry, and communications.
    • University or College level education or equivalent work related knowledge of hospital operations, administration and/or equipment maintenance required
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Adobe Acrobat. Intermediate Excel skills required, Advanced Excel skills preferred.
    • Must be able to work with our CMMS and Real Time Locating Software systems, or similar experience
    • Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills
    • Demonstrate initiative and self-motivation.
    • Able to walk significant distance per day
    • Good communications skills with all levels of internal and external stakeholders is essential.
