Commercial Project Manager (CPM)
Commercial Project Manager (CPM), you will be responsible for the financial aspects of the projects and collaborate with the Project Manager. This requires working independently and across teams with varied strengths in Procurement, Finance, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, Tax, and Accounting. Clear direction and communication are paramount to ensure accuracy of our financial performance and upward feedback on cost deviations. Various processes and guidelines will be applied, using different digital platforms, and ensuring compliance with applicable internal and external regulations.

- High energy and hands‑on leadership in fast‑paced environments, ensuring thoroughness and attention to detail while meeting deadlines.
- Ensures accuracy and compliance of project books and records with financial guidelines.
- Strong problem‑solving, diagnostic, and analytical skills for effective project management.
- Manages financial execution of projects, including sales orders, SAP setup, revenue recognition, invoicing, and cost maintenance.
- Responsible for project controlling, forecasting, and reporting financial status for dedicated project portfolios.
- Collaborate with Technical Project Managers on contract negotiations and supports project quality to achieve financial goals. 10% travel.
- A bachelor’s degree in a Finance related discipline is required;
Finance, Economics, Business or Accounting preferred; CPM, CPA or someone who is working towards a CPA designation is a plus. - 2 or more years of hands‑on experience in an Accounting or Finance role.
- Detailed understanding of GAAP and IFRS.
- Sophisticated skills with Microsoft Office, proficiency in Power BI & Power Query, experience with SAP, and strong analytical skills.
- Work independently, capable of multitasking and meeting deadlines; great teammate and open to learning.

Pay TransparencyThis position is based in Oakville, Ontario. Siemens Energy offers a variety of benefits including health and wellness, paid time off and holiday pay. The base salary range for this position is $95,000 to $135,000.
