High Voltage Technician

Position: High Voltage Technician Needed at Chemco
Join Chemco as a High Voltage Technician, working on diverse electrical projects across Western Canada. This field role focuses on commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical systems.

We seek candidates with 5 to 10 years of experience in medium and high-voltage electrical systems who can operate various testing equipment. You will be responsible for maintaining quality documentation and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Effective communication is crucial as you support field execution and interact with various teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute maintenance, testing, and commissioning plans

• Operate high-voltage testing equipment accurately

• Read and interpret schematics and project specifications

• Maintain detailed records of inspections and repairs

• Participate in safety culture and project meetings

Requirements:

• Preferred Engineering Technologist diploma or related education

• Minimum of 5 years experience in high-voltage roles

• Familiarity with power electrical systems and testing practices

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

• Valid driver’s license and readiness to travel for fieldwork
