This position actively works with the Student Honor Committee (academic integrity board) to recruit members for the committee and ensure that they are trained on policies and procedure. They also serve as an active member of the Student Honor Committee Executive Committee and organize meetings of the Student Honor Committee throughout the year.
Responsibilities
* Oversee the Student Honor Committee membership process including recruitment, interviews, and selection.
* Design and facilitate training each semester in collaboration with the Education Coordinator and Hearing Coordinator.
* Hold meetings and, if necessary, facilitate removals for committee members who are inactive or not fulfilling their duties.
* Organize Student Honor Committee meetings as necessary throughout the year.
* Plan, in collaboration with the Education and Hearing Coordinator, the Student Honor Committee Senior Celebration.
* Attend weekly meetings with the other Student Honor Committee coordinators (membership and education) and the Honor System Liaison.
Qualifications
* Active member of the Student Honor Committee.
* Actively enrolled student at Oberlin College.
