Job Description

Floor Care Technician at Scioto Services

Shift: Sunday – Thursday 10:00pm - 6:30am

Location: Oberlin College

• You must be 18 years old
• Experience and knowledge of operating different types of floor machines
• A pre‑employment drug screen and criminal background check are required.
• Lift and carry items weighing up to 50lbs, stand, bend and walk throughout an 8‑hour shift

As you might expect, cleaning is at the heart of what your job will entail. For the most part, you’ll be:

• General Cleaning
• Scrubbing and buffing floors
• Strip and wax floors
• Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning
• Implementing and adhering to a comprehensive floor schedule
• Additional tasks as needed
