Production​/Assembler – 1st Shift

Job Description

Horizons HR Services is immediately hiring 20–30 Assemblers for a beautiful, climate-controlled greenhouse facility in Oberlin, Ohio
. Employees will work in an assembly-line-style environment preparing flowers, including orchids and mums, for shipment.

This is a 10-week assignment starting Wednesday, September 9, offering a consistent weekday schedule and weekly pay!

• Pay:$17.00 per hour
• Weekly Pay
• Shift: 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Occasional mandatory Saturday overtime consisting of a five-hour morning shift
• Assignment Length: Approximately 10 weeks
• Location: Oberlin, OH 44074

• Prepare orchids, mums, and other flowers for shipment
• Package and organize products according to customer orders
• Inspect flowers and packaging for quality
• Maintain an organized and efficient workstation
• Stand and remain active throughout the shift
• Follow all workplace safety and production procedures
• Meet daily production and shipping goals

• Must be able to speak English or Spanish
• Must be comfortable standing throughout the entire shift
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a production environment
• Ability to work at a steady pace as part of a team
• Must be available for occasional mandatory Saturday overtime
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must be able to complete a drug test
• Reliable transportation to Oberlin, Ohio
• Dependable attendance is required for the full 10-week assignment

Previous assembly, production, packaging, warehouse, greenhouse, or floral experience is helpful but not required.
