Douds Veterinary Hospital is looking for a compassionate and dependable Kennel Attendant to join our team. Kennel team members play an essential role in providing daily care for hospitalized and boarding patients while helping maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming hospital environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide compassionate daily care for boarding and hospitalized patients
  • Feed pets and monitor appetites and behavior
  • Clean and sanitize cages, runs, litter boxes, food and water bowls, and hospital areas
  • Bathe and brush patients as needed
  • Maintain laundry for the kennel and hospital
  • Help maintain hospital cleanliness and organization throughout the day
  • Assist doctors and technicians with patient restraint and medication administration as directed
  • Collect urine and fecal samples when needed
  • Monitor patients and report unusual behavior or medical concerns to the veterinary team
  • Help maintain hospital grounds and assist with light facility upkeep
  • Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and maintenance protocols
