's Dining Services team is currently seeking caring, customer focused individuals for Waitstaff positions. Our Waitstaff are responsible to wait on residents and guests in the dining areas of Kendal s very important role assists in the food preparation as well as sanitation of the department as needed. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Being familiar with all menu items for meal service: garnishes, the fresh fruits available, ingredients in food to answer residents' questions.
- Using proper serving and food handling techniques.
- Replenishing food and supplies throughout meal service.
- Serving food and beverages to all customers using proper portions.
- Having all items needed for meal service set up before doors open.
- Preparing coffee and hot water as needed throughout the meal service.
- Vacuuming assigned areas of dining areas.
- Thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing tables, chairs and countertops.
- Must be able to read, write and comprehend English.
- Barista experience highly desired.
- Must have a cheerful demeanor.
- Must have clean, neat work appearance.
- Ability to lift weights of up to 25 pounds.
- Must be able to stand and/or walk most of the shift.
