Assembly Technician II - Full Time - (Weekend, Fri-Sun

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated Assembly Technician II who is eager to learn and develop in the optical field onsite in Obetz, Ohio. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, is open to feedback, and is looking to grow their career. The Obetz location offers a brand new and climate‑controlled facility with free daily meals and snacks. You’ll have the opportunity to move up in the organization based on performance reviews.

Shift: Friday – Sunday 6:30 am – 6:30 pm (must be available for overtime as needed, including weekdays)
Compensation: Starting at $18.00/hour + $1.50 Shift Differential (based on applicable experience)

• Picking and unpacking lenses and frames for customer orders
• Prepping and loading lenses into machines
• Beginner level mounting lenses into frames
• Placing of receipted goods into correct locations
• Maintain good housekeeping, 6S
• Ensure daily / monthly KPI’s are met
• Adherence to all company policies, processes, and procedures (i.e. Health & Safety Awareness)
• Report to management on activities and issues
• Inter‑department running

• 3 + years of assembly experience
• Strong organizational skills
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• You are proactive and have a strong ability to identify & problem solve
• Follow instructions and production schedules
