Administrative Assistant And Receptionist
Blessed Trinity Angel in Arms Day Care Center seeks an experienced administrative assistant and receptionist. The ideal candidate supports the mission of the Blessed Trinity Catholic Church and school, welcomes our families and visitors while providing outstanding support to the administration staff. This role requires a person with excellent interpersonal skills who relates well with people. Good communication skills are essential – verbal, written, electronic.
The following duties and functions, as outlined herein, are intended to be representative of the type of tasks performed within this classification. They are not listed in any order of importance. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least three years' experience performing administrative and executive support duties.
- Highly communicative, with excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to speak Spanish a plus.
- Checks mail, e-mail, phone messages, etc., communicating information in a timely manner to appropriate persons.
- Efficient and effective organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Team player, with experience in co-work roles as necessary to support school operations.
- Ability to maintain a strict level of confidentiality.
- Proficient and confident computer user, including MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Publisher).
- Knowledge of the FACTS Management System is a plus.
- Must conduct themselves in a manner that is consistent with and supportive of the mission and purpose of the Catholic Church.
- Public behavior must not violate the faith, morals or laws of the Church or the policies of the diocese.
- Earn 45 hours of DCF training within one year of employment.
- Ability to pass Diocese of Orlando background check and safe environment training as well as the background check for the Department of Children and Families.
