Position Summary
The Penske Maintenance Coordinator manages inventory and administrative processes for the branch(es), supporting maintenance operational efficiency, effectiveness, customer satisfaction, and profitability.

Work ScheduleMonday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Holidays may be scheduled based on business needs.
Shift Differentials:
- Second shift: $2.00 starting after 11:00 am
- Third shift: $3.00 starting after 9:00 pm
- Weekend shift: $2.00 on Saturdays and Sundays regardless of start time
- Full oversight of branch inventory productivity, ensuring timely service support while mitigating risk of inventory loss.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels through proper ordering procedures and daily partnership with Centralized Parts Ordering to guarantee defect‑free and on‑time deliveries.
- Receive, store, and organize parts; update Parts Net promptly; conduct frequent cycle counts; ensure parts availability.
- Manage new and used battery inventory; keep tires on hand in correct quantities and specifications.
- Ship warranty items and receive them on time; follow up on returns and warranty garments with the warranty department.
- Collaborate with the Customer Service Coordinator to schedule repairs as parts become available.
- Support and hold vendor accountability, ensuring accurate payment processing.
- Perform process analyses and reviews in inventory, maintenance profitability, warranty campaigns, cycle counts, and return‑on‑sale (RO) reviews; recommend solutions and guidance to mitigate profitability risks.
- Utilize systems such as Service Net or AS400 to understand operational dynamics for problem solving and process improvement.
- Provide guidance and information to support the branch financial manager in performance and profitability.
- Complete projects and tasks assigned by the Branch Financial Manager and District Financial Manager.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills; ability to collaborate with branch team members.
- Competent written and verbal communication skills.
- Minimum two years of customer service and operations experience required.
- Preferred two years of experience in a service and parts department.
- Agile, quick learner who enjoys collaborative projects and continuous education.
- Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint required.
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function.
- Willingness to travel as necessary; to work the required schedule and at the specified location; to complete the Penske employment application, background investigation (including past employment, education, criminal history), and drug screening.
- Read, communicate verbally and/or in written form; remember and analyze information; understand instructions.
- Perform duties while standing, walking, and sitting; use hands to touch, handle, and feel; reach with hands and arms.
- Occasionally lift or move up to 25 lbs (12 kg).
- Required vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
