Job Description
Supports an OB/GYN office by scheduling patients for clinic-based procedures, coordinating with relevant departments, registering patients, performing benefit eligibility verification, completing authorization and pre‑certification, serving as a liaison with insurance companies, relaying instructions and preparation details for procedures, coordinating equipment and medications, overseeing vendor and equipment presence, ensuring training and maintenance of equipment, assisting in patient procedures, overseeing billing, ordering supplies within budget, and maintaining efficient clinic workflow.
Other duties as assigned.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Effective interpersonal communication with all levels of management, vendors, and medical office staff
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability and willingness to multitask
- Ability to handle sensitive or confidential data
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Professional interactions with all internal and external customers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Associate degree (preferred)
- Bachelor's degree (preferred)
- High school graduate (field of study)
- 2+ years office experience (required)
- Medical office scheduling and authorization experience (preferred)
Physical Requirements -
Pay Range$17.63 - $28.20
