DescriptionThe Senior Videographer is responsible for producing high-quality video and multimedia content that supports the World Equestrian Center's marketing, branding, and communication initiatives. This role manages all aspects of video production, including creative planning, filming, editing, and final delivery for digital marketing campaigns, social media, events, corporate communications, and promotional projects. The Videographer collaborates closely with internal departments to create compelling visual storytelling while maintaining the organization's brand standards and delivering projects on schedule.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead the creative development, planning, and execution of video productions for marketing campaigns, events, promotions, social media, corporate communications, and special projects.
- Capture high-quality video and photography across a variety of environments, including live events, competitions, hospitality venues, interviews, and behind-the-scenes productions.
- Manage all phases of production, including pre-production planning, scheduling, scripting assistance, shot lists, equipment preparation, filming, lighting, audio recording, editing, and final delivery.
- Operate and maintain professional video, photography, lighting, audio, drone, and production equipment.
- Ensure production equipment is properly maintained, organized, and operating at optimal performance.
- Produce engaging visual content utilizing professional cinematography, color correction, motion graphics, sound design, and post-production editing techniques.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Social Media, Design, and organizational leadership to develop creative concepts that support strategic business objectives.
- Create and optimize video content for multiple platforms, including websites, social media channels, digital advertising, email marketing, and internal communications.
- Direct on-camera talent, interview subjects, and production participants to achieve desired creative outcomes.
- Provide mentorship, technical guidance, and production support to junior videographers, photographers, interns, and other creative team members.
- Manage multiple video projects simultaneously while meeting established production schedules, deadlines, and quality standards.
- Ensure all content aligns with World Equestrian Center brand standards and maintains a consistent visual identity.
- Organize, archive, and manage digital assets, raw footage, completed projects, and production files.
- Stay current on emerging video production technologies, creative trends, editing techniques, and social media best practices.
- Support special events, meetings, and organizational initiatives requiring video or multimedia production.
- Demonstrate exceptional organizational, communication, project management, and problem-solving skills while adapting to changing priorities.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Film, Television, Broadcasting, Communications, Digital Media, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years of professional videography, video production, or multimedia content creation experience.
- Demonstrated portfolio showcasing commercial, promotional, event, lifestyle, and social media video production.
- Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, and Audition.
- Experience operating professional cinema cameras, DSLR or mirrorless camera systems, lighting equipment, audio recording systems, and stabilization equipment.
- Experience operating drones and FAA Part 107 Certification preferred.
- Strong understanding of storyboarding, scripting, shot composition, lighting, color grading, sound design, and motion graphics.
- Knowledge of current social media platforms, content trends, and digital video optimization best practices.
- Exceptional creative vision with the ability to transform concepts into engaging visual content.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods during productions, events, and on-location shoots.
- Must be able to lift, carry, transport, and set up production equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
