Voter Services Call Center Associate

Our client, a government agency specializing in election services, is seeking a Voter Services Call Center Associate to join their team. As a Voter Services Call Center Associate, you will be part of the Voter Services Department supporting the Election Operations team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Voter Services Call Center Associate

Location: Ocala, 34470

Pay Range: $17

Shift: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm

What's the Job?

• Processing voter registrations and updating voter records accurately.
• Providing excellent customer service by verbally communicating with voters in person or by telephone regarding registration, vote-by-mail, and general inquiries.
• Performing data entry tasks with thorough understanding and attention to detail.
• Managing main telephone reception, transferring calls, and taking messages efficiently.
• Supporting the team by working in other functional areas as needed to ensure smooth operations during peak periods or absences.

What's Needed?

• Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of an acceptable equivalency diploma.
• Working knowledge of personal computers and software applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, and database query tools.
• Active registered voter.
• Ability to pass a statewide background check.
• Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends as needed with little or no advance notice.
