We are seeking a full‑time Psychiatrist to provide all levels of outpatient services within a state‑of‑the‑art female correctional institution. The psychiatrist evaluates, diagnoses, and treats patients and works under the supervision of the Psychiatric Medical Director, providing clinical leadership for a multidisciplinary team.

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment for female patients within the correctional facility.
• Work under the supervision of the Psychiatric Medical Director.
• Provide clinical leadership for a multidisciplinary team to deliver behavioral health services.
• Participate in rotational on‑call approximately every 6 to 8 weeks, providing 7‑day/24‑hour coverage.

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) with completion of an accredited residency program.
• Current medical license to practice in Florida.
• Board certification in psychiatry.
• Active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration certificate.
• Current tuberculosis documentation and active CPR certification.
• Background investigation clearance and agency security clearance where applicable.
• Minimum of two (2) years of clinical practice as a psychiatrist.
• Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience.
• Experience in correctional mental health care or locked unit preferred.
