Adjunct - Human Nutrition (2025‑2026 Annual Pool) Job Description

Prerequisitesfor Position (Qualification Standards)
- Education or training:
Master’s Degree in Nutrition or Food Sciences or a master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in a combination of fields, including Nutrition, Food Sciences, Biochemistry, or Biology. - Years of Experience in the field:
Three years of related work experience required. Teaching experience preferred. - Special skills or abilities related to position:
Commitment to the college objective of providing instruction for a diverse student population. Excellent interpersonal, oral communication and writing skills. Knowledge of learning and assessment theories and methods and the relationship to the pedagogy of teaching. Possess a high level of technical skills and subject matter knowledge as it relates to a specific discipline. Evidence of initiative, resourcefulness and adaptability.
Job Functions

Physical Demands- Acceptable eyesight (with or without correction).

- Ability to drive a college vehicle.
- Works inside in a classroom/laboratory environment.
