Part‑Time Instructional Aid – I – Vintage Farm (2025‑2026 Annual Pool)

Location:

3001 Southwest College Road, Ocala, Florida 34474, United States.

General office, learning and testing assistance for the assigned division or department.

• Help students achieve skill‑level competencies on an individual or small group basis in classroom, lab or shop assignments.
• Assist in setting up instructional or lab materials and equipment, and in maintaining, storing, and inventorying these supplies.
• Assist the instructor in administering and grading tests and homework assignments.
• Aid in selecting, ordering, and instructing in the use of materials and equipment for a specific program or class.

• High school diploma or equivalent (additional training desired).
• Some experience working with beginning students in a learning lab situation.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Computer skills and proficiency with various equipment used in a learning lab setting.
• Knowledge of the work in the area.
• Positive human relation and communication skills.

• Acceptable eyesight (with or without correction).
• Acceptable hearing (with or without hearing aid).
• Clear oral and written communication via telephone and computer for extended periods.
• Requires sitting at a desk and viewing a display screen for extended periods.
• Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer or other electronic device.
• Requires moderate lifting and carrying (up to 40 pounds).
• Requires walking, standing, kneeling, stooping, reaching, twisting and bending.

Works inside an office and classroom environment.

Primary location of job as assigned by supervisor.

Division dean or department head designated at hiring time.
