Overview
You will be the Test Engineer Associate for the Missiles and Fire Control team in Ocala. Our team is responsible for the overall maintenance of test equipment and processes.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Test Engineer Associate, you will be responsible for test procedure development, test planning and preparation, test procedure execution, coordinate system resources to support testing, support test development, integration, anomaly resolution and corrective action. Your responsibilities will include:
- Debugging and fixing test software anomalies
- Troubleshooting test equipment and supporting troubleshooting efforts of the production hardware
- Supporting off-hours testing and associated projects as needed
- Test equipment failure analysis and resolution
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Hands-on experience with common measurement equipment, such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and signal generators.
- Proven experience troubleshooting analog, RF, and/or digital circuits, including identifying and resolving complex technical issues.
- Component and/or system-level troubleshooting experience, with the ability to analyze and resolve problems at multiple levels of complexity.
- Ability to interpret test requirements, electrical test results, and technical data, including the ability to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance, with the willingness to comply with all applicable security regulations and procedures.
- Experience with automated systems and manufacturing processes, including familiarity with industry-standard tools and technologies.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to conduct detailed failure analysis and identify root causes of complex technical issues.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to lead presentations and clearly convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to develop and implement root cause and corrective actions, with a focus on continuous improvement and process optimization.
- Programming skills in languages such as C, C++, and/or other relevant programming languages, with the ability to apply programming principles to solve complex technical problems.
- Experience with National Instruments software platforms, including Lab Windows CVI, Test Stand, and Lab View, with the ability to develop and implement automated test systems.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with a proactive and motivated approach.
