As a Process Engineer, drive technical excellence and process innovation for advanced aerospace and aero-derivative turbine systems. In this role, you’ll lead complex projects, develop cutting‑edge processes, and use lean tools to push performance, quality, and efficiency to new levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the high‑temperature vapor diffusion coating process and its technical direction.
  • Lead key projects using strong project management and problem‑solving skills.
  • Partner across teams to build robust, cost‑effective manufacturing processes.
  • Create and publish technical reports, specs, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Develop KPIs that drive performance and process clarity.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and implement lean‑driven solutions.
  • Coordinate prototype builds and approvals.
  • Design engineering experiments that move the business forward.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Materials or Chemical Engineering is preferred).
  • 2+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment; aerospace preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience with high temperature vapor diffusion coatings is preferred.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Experience with superalloys, high temperature coatings, and electroplating is preferred.
  • Knowledge of FAA guidelines for PMA requirements and compliance testing is highly desirable.
  • Experience with continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, design thinking methodologies is a plus.
  • Thoughtful and effective communications skills.
  • Team player with an ownership mentality.
