ATE Support Engineer

ATE Support Engineer position in Ocala, FL.

US Citizenship is required for this position

Security Clearance is not required to apply, only the ability to qualify for an Interim Secret Security Clearance is required to apply

1st Shift working four 10-hour days typically with every Friday off (4/10 Work Schedule)

Work will be onsite only

Job description:

Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire in Ocala, Florida is , TX is seeking an Automated Test Equipment support engineer.

Duties include supporting the operation, calibration, and maintenance of test stations used during optical and electrical checks for the production unit.

Additionally, the Engineer will support root cause failure analysis if the tested production unit fails.

Upon determination of the root cause, the Engineer would then recommend and implement corrective actions on the test station as required or in the case of a production unit failure, provide recommendations to manufacturing engineering.

Required Experience/

Skills:



• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline with 5 years of professional experience or 3 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree. Considered career or journey level.

• Candidate must have at least 1-2 years' experience with Power Electronics

• Candidate must have at least 2-4 years' experience with Production

• Candidate must have at least 2-4 years' experience with Electrical Testing

• Candidate must have at least 2-4 years' experience with User Acceptance Testing

• Candidate must have at least 1-2 years' experience with Validation Test Plans

• Candidate must have at least 1-2 years' experience with wide application of technical principles, theories and concepts, in the field. General knowledge of other related disciplines.

• Candidate must have at least 1-2 years' experience with Test Stations in a Production Environment

• Candidate must have at least 1-2 years' experience with Microsoft Office

• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills

• Familiarity with common lab equipment: DMM, Oscilloscopes, Power Supplies

• Familiarity with Troubleshooting test equipment with schematics and documentation

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Work well in a team environment

Security Clearance:

Interim Secret

Security Clearance Comments:

Prefer candidates with Active Secret Clearance.

Candidates must be able to obtain Interim Secret.

Not required to start.
