Job Description
  • Schedules patients for clinic-based procedures, coordinating with relevant departments.
  • Registers patients and performs benefit eligibility verification applicable for patient visits.
  • Completes authorization and pre-certification related to patient procedures.
  • Serves as a liaison with insurance companies to submit accurate information needed for approval.
  • Relays instructions and preparation details for procedures to patients.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office [Required]
  • Demonstrate interpersonal skills by effectively communicating with all levels of management and outside vendors and medical office staff [Required]
  • Strong emphasis on organizational skills and strong attention to detail [Required]
  • Ability and willingness to multitask [Required]
  • Ability to handle data that is sensitive or confidential in nature [Required]
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment [Required]
  • Display professional interactions with all levels of internal and external customers [Required]
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills [Required]
  • Proficient in computer and typing skills [Required]
Education
  • Associate [Preferred]
  • Bachelor’s [Preferred]
Field Of Study
  • High school graduate
Work Experience
  • 2+ years office experience [Required]
  • Medical office scheduling and authorization experience [Preferred]
