Working Title:
OPS NUTRITION EDUCATOR -
- Time sheet and EAR entry within the required time frame
- Subject to emergency duty in the event of a natural disaster, including work before, during, and/or beyond normal work hours or days
- Perform phone response and assistance for the FDOH Marion County WIC Program/Breastfeeding Program, promoting cooperation, courtesy, and teamwork in a diverse environment
- Answer multi-line phone, input data into the FL-WISE computer system, transfer calls, triage calls to program staff, assist callers and clients with program questions, appointment scheduling, and inform them what they may need to bring for appointments
- Maintain confidentiality of client records and health data per state and federal laws
- Maintain current knowledge of the Federal WIC program regulations, including WIC memos, WIC FL-WiSE clinic manual, and the FL WIC Manual DHM 150-24
Minimum
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited college or university
- Valid Driver License
- Willing to travel to clinics using your own vehicle
Preferred
- Experience completing nutrition counseling, assessments, and writing nutrition care plans
- Experience working the WIC program
