Ocala Equine Hospital is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Diagnostic Imaging Team Member to join our advanced diagnostic services team. Work alongside board-certified surgeons and radiologists while utilizing PET Scan, MRI, CT, and Nuclear Scintigraphy technologies.

Position Summary

The Diagnostic Imaging Team Member coordinates and supports advanced equine diagnostic procedures, including patient preparation, imaging acquisition, radiation safety compliance, image processing, equipment maintenance, and collaboration with veterinarians, surgeons, radiologists, and clients.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Nuclear Scintigraphy, PET, CT, and MRI patient preparation and imaging support
  • Radiation safety monitoring and compliance
  • Image acquisition, review, processing, and archiving
  • Equipment calibration, maintenance, and quality control
  • Scheduling coordination and procedural workflow management
  • Medical record documentation and client communication
  • Medication administration and patient monitoring
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum two years of veterinary medicine experience
  • Advanced equine handling skills
  • Experience with catheter placement, medication administration, bandaging, and sterile technique
  • Strong understanding of equine anatomy and physiology
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time‑management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Preferred Qualifications
  • Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT/CVT/RVT)
  • Equine specialty hospital experience
  • CT, MRI, PET, or Nuclear Scintigraphy experience
  • Radiation safety training or certification
Schedule

Full‑Time | Monday–Friday. Participation in an on‑call rotation as needed.
