Responsibilities
- Perform accurate X-rays following provider orders and radiation safety guidelines (ALARA).
- Prepare, position, and room patients; obtain vital signs and patient history.
- Transmit images for radiologist review and ensure proper documentation.
- Assist patients and staff with mobility, exam preparation, and specimen collection.
- Maintain cleanliness of rooms and adequate supply levels.
- Transport patients safely within the facility as needed.
Qualifications
Required
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
- ARRT certification and Florida state licensure.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
- Ability to perform patient imaging and assist in patient care safely and accurately.
Preferred
- Previous radiology experience in hospital or clinical settings.
- Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and patient care skills.
- Familiarity with imaging software and equipment maintenance.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly pay: $24.93-$36.15, with shift differentials:
Nights $3.25/hr, Weekends $2/hr, Evenings $2/hr, Holidays Time & 1/2. - $7,500 sign-on bonus; relocation assistance considered case by case.
