Lead CT Technologist

Job Summary and Qualifications

Lead CT Technologist responsible for overseeing all CT procedures, ensuring quality and quantity, coordinating staff schedules, maintaining equipment, and supporting patient care across multiple sites. Directs departmental activity and supports ancillary personnel under the guidance of the Imaging Manager, Director of Radiology, and the Radiologist.

Conducts and supervises CT procedures for inpatients and outpatients of all age groups. Manages daily staffing, assessing the need for call technicians. Maintains supplies and equipment to ensure uninterrupted departmental operations. Handles staff scheduling and coverage across all modalities. Builds professional relationships with employees, other departments, and medical staff. Performs as a staff technologist when required and may work at Ocala Regional Hospital, West Marion Community Hospital, or The Free Standing Emergency Department.

• Vocational or 2‑year Associate’s Degree required
• Florida State license with minimum CT qualification
• BLS certification
• Registered CT Tech (ARRT)
• 3–5 years of imaging experience
