Phlebotomist Float
Location:
Ocala, FL
Duration: 3+ months (Possible Extension/ Temp to hire)
Shift: Mon-Fri 8 or 10 hour shift between 5 AM - 5 PM, Rotational Saturdays

Note:
Floaters are able to submit mileage for expense reimbursement (From Primary location to visiting location).
Must have clean driving record.

Overview:
The PSR - floater represents the face of the company, delivering professional specimen collection services and ensuring exceptional patient care. This floater role requires travel between multiple sites, performing venipuncture and related duties while adhering to safety, accuracy, and customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform skilled venipuncture (pediatric, geriatric, and capillary) and specimen processing
Verify patient ensure accurate specimen labeling in their presence
Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment
Complete documentation and maintain confidentiality of patient information
Adapt to different locations and work environments with minimal notice
Comply with company dress code, policies, and health/safety standards
Deliver high-level customer service and promote a positive company image.

Education & Experience:

Required: High School Diploma or GED
Required: 1 to 3 years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections.
Floaters travel in between multiple sites and are expected to be on time at whatever site they are covering for that day.
