Physical Therapist Assistant PRN

Role Overview: The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) provides treatment, exercise instruction, and patient education to improve patient well-being in a home care setting, following a plan of care established by a supervising Physical Therapist.

• Follow state laws and the treatment plan set by the supervising PT, performing only qualified procedures and recommending plan modifications.
• Instruct and assist patients with exercises, gait, ADL, transfer, safety, and prosthetic training.
• Observe and report patient responses and condition changes to the healthcare team, coordinating care as needed.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about therapy within the scope of practice.

• Current licensure, registration, or certification to assist in physical therapy practice in the state.
• CPR certification, valid driver's license, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work effectively in diverse home environments and perform physical tasks like lifting and mobility assistance.
• Availability for weekend rotations.

Pay ranges from $23.41 to $41.83 per hour, depending on experience and location. Benefits include comprehensive coverage, incentive programs, stock purchase options, and 401k contributions.
