Role Overview:

As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will deliver skilled physical therapy services under the supervision of a physical therapist, following physician’s care plans to enhance patient recovery and function.

• Provide direct therapy treatments and interventions.
• Communicate regularly with patients and caregivers about the plan of care.
• Assess and report patient progress and condition changes to supervisors and physicians.
• Educate patients and families on safe device usage and rehabilitation techniques.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize care plans.
• Assist in discharge planning and provide instructions for ongoing care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of patient progress and treatments.
• Participate in training sessions and adhere to professional standards and confidentiality requirements.

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current, unrestricted state license as a PTA.
• Valid CPR certification.
• Excellent communication, observational, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work productively and adapt to changing patient needs.
