Job Duties and Responsibilities- Answers a multi-line phone system in a courteous and friendly manner.
- Schedules appointments for multiple radiology clinical sites, assuring the diagnosis is appropriate for the exam ordered.
- Obtains and enters accurate demographic and insurance information into our RIS system.
- Provides exceptional customer service, addressing patient inquiries and concerns with empathy and professionalism.
- Accurately updates and maintains patient information within the Electronic Health Records (EHR) system.
- Utilizes
Medical Terminology to communicate effectively with patients and clinical staff. - Demonstrates strong Communication Skills through clear verbal and written interactions.
- Executes precise Data Entry for patient demographics, appointments, and billing information.
- Ensures strict HIPAA Compliance in all patient interactions and data handling, safeguarding patient privacy.
- Leverages
Microsoft Office suite for various administrative tasks, including documentation and correspondence. - Applies excellent Organizational Skills to manage multiple tasks, maintain orderly records, and prioritize effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year of experience in a healthcare administrative or medical office setting.
- Knowledge of radiologic procedures desirable
- Good computer and customer service skills a must
- Knowledge of medical terminology desirable
- Patient Scheduling principles and practices.
- Exceptional Customer Service orientation.
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Understanding of Insurance Verification processes.

Role Overview

QualificationsCandidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, paired with at least one year of administrative experience in a healthcare or medical office setting. While familiarity with radiologic procedures, insurance verification, and medical terminology is highly desirable, a demonstrated commitment to delivering compassionate patient care and strong computer literacy are absolute requirements.
