Schedule:

Full Time Nights, Shifts start at 6 pm 7 pm or 8 pm12-hour shifts, Panama Schedule 2 on/ 2 off, 3 on/ 2 off, 2 on/ 3 off

+ Identifies, intervenes, and stabilizes patients during transport under the direction of the medical director and EMS protocols.

+ Provides direct medical care to patients during transport consistent with established EMS medical protocols and guidelines.

+ Establishes and manages advanced airways via intubation, Laryngeal mask airway (LMA), and/or cricothyrotomy as approved by EMS medical protocols.

+ Manages ventilators, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), and Left Ventricular Assist Devices (LVAD) during transport.

+ Administers approved medications and narcotics consistent with EMS medical protocols.

** Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:*
* + Ability to determine the nature of patient conditions and assess whether patients have pre-existing medical conditions [Required]

+ Ability to identify and treat life threatening conditions within the paramedic's field of practice [Required]

+ Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English [Required]

+ Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office [Required]
