Description

Job Summary:

The Bell Person Attendant is primarily responsible for welcoming all guests to the resort as well as bidding them farewell. The Bellman typically remains in the lobby at the main entrance but also assists our guests with luggage at the Residences, orienting guests with the features of our resort, making deliveries, stores and organizes luggage, assist guests with check-in and check-out if necessary and assisting our guests in any way to make them feel more comfortable.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests to the establishment and offer professional valet services.
  • Accommodate guests by opening doors and assisting with luggage or other heavy items.
  • Direct traffic in the parking area is needed and assist guests in entering and leaving the parking lot.
  • Answer guests' questions regarding local attractions, hotel amenities, and other available services.
  • Collect and accurately label keys belonging to guests to ensure their proper return.
  • Park guests' vehicles in predetermined areas within the parking lot, following all traffic laws.
  • Operate vehicles safely and responsibility.
  • Organize and file paperwork regarding guests' vehicles and daily transactions.

  • Talk and hear.

Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proven safe driver and clean driving records required.
  • Valid personal car insurance required.
  • Ability to communicate professionally.
  • Customer service experience and friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to work in a standing position for hours at a time.
  • Accountability and personal integrity are essential due to access to client information.
  • Ability to multitask and attend to several customers at once.
  • Experience driving vehicles with both manual and automatic transmission.
  • Organizational skills to recall vehicle locations and keys.
  • Superior customer service skills.
  • Customer service experience required.
  • Experience in a hotel setting preferred.
