We Care Hospitality is a family owned, South Florida based restaurant group that specializes in genuine hospitality and care. We are seeking a talented and driven Host to join our team of Hospitality professionals at GG's Waterfront
. We pride ourselves on treating people like they are guests in our own home. We are dedicated to providing exceptional service and a memorable dining atmosphere while highlighting the natural beauty of our location.
As the first point of contact for our guests, the Host plays a crucial role in delivering an exceptional dining experience at GG's Waterfront. This position requires a warm, welcoming demeanor and the ability to manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently. The Host will ensure that guests feel valued and attended to from the moment they arrive to their exit.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Reception:
- Greet guests warmly as they enter the restaurant.
- Manage the reservation system and take phone inquiries regarding availability and dining options.
- Seating Management:
- Assign tables to guests based on their reservation status and the flow of the dining room.
- Monitor guest seating to ensure a smooth and efficient dining experience.
- Communication:
- Liaise between the front of house and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
- Communicate special requests or dietary restrictions to the serving staff.
- Customer Service:
- Provide information about the menu, specials, and restaurant policies.
- Address any guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
- Ambiance Maintenance:
- Ensure that the entrance and waiting areas are clean and welcoming.
- Assist with the overall atmosphere of the restaurant, including music and lighting adjustments as needed.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with the management and service team to optimize guest flow and dining experience.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
- Previous experience in a host or front-of-house role in an upscale dining setting preferred.
- Knowledge of Opentable or Resy is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with reservation systems and restaurant management software is a plus.
