The World Equestrian Center – Ocala is seeking a poised and personable Host to join the opening team of Polo Pony
, our elevated American cuisine concept located within the prestigious Equestrian Manor. This role is ideal for hospitality professionals who embody warmth, elegance, and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences.

As a Host at Polo Pony, you will be the first and last impression for our guests, setting the tone for refined service and gracious hospitality. You will play a key role in orchestrating the guest journey, ensuring seamless seating, timely communication, and a welcoming atmosphere that reflects the World Equestrian Center’s core values of Quality, Class, and Distinction
.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Create a welcoming and polished first impression for every guest, offering personalized greetings and farewells.
• Manage reservations and walk-in traffic with precision, balancing guest expectations and service flow.
• Maintain an organized and elegant host stand, ensuring cleanliness and visual appeal.
• Communicate effectively with the service team to optimize seating and guest transitions.
• Anticipate guest needs and accommodate special requests with discretion and care.
• Uphold Polo Pony’s standards of hospitality, presentation, and guest engagement at all times.
• Assist with coat check, private dining coordination, and special event seating as needed.

Qualifications, Education, Experience,

Skills and Abilities

• Prior experience in a fine dining or upscale hospitality setting preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Familiarity with reservation systems is a plus.
• Ability to multitask gracefully and maintain composure under pressure.
• A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
