Baymont by Wyndham Ocala Suites is seeking a reliable, hardworking Houseman to support our housekeeping and maintenance teams. This position plays a vital role in ensuring our hotel remains clean, organized, and guest‑ready at all times. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, physically active, and enjoys working in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.

• Assist housekeeping staff with room cleaning and turnover needs
• Deliver linens, towels, and housekeeping supplies throughout the hotel
• Collect and transport dirty linens to the laundry area
• Maintain the cleanliness of hallways, stairwells, elevators, lobby, breakfast area, and other public spaces
• Remove trash from guest rooms and common areas
• Respond promptly to guest requests such as extra towels, bedding, or amenities
• Assist with light maintenance tasks as needed
• Set up and break down meeting rooms or special event areas when required
• Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, and lost-and-found items
• Help maintain the inventory of housekeeping supplies
• Follow all hotel safety, cleanliness, and guest service standards

• Previous hotel housekeeping or housekeeping support experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and climb stairs for extended periods
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed

This is a physically demanding position that requires frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, and prolonged standing throughout the workday.

$15 - $15/hour
