Hilton Ocala is one of four Meyer Jabara Hotels properties in Florida. Our beautiful 196-room hotel features six spacious event rooms and a stunning outdoor tent venue, making us a top destination for weddings, meetings, and special events.

We are currently seeking an energetic and guest-focused Guest Service Agent to join our Front Office team.

Position Overview

The Guest Service Agent serves as the first point of contact for hotel guests and plays a critical role in creating an exceptional arrival and departure experience. This position is responsible for guest check-in and check-out procedures, handling reservations, processing payments, responding to guest requests, and providing outstanding service throughout the guest stay while supporting Hilton brand standards.

Essential Responsibilities Guest Services
  • Welcome guests in a professional, friendly, and timely manner.
  • Register guests upon arrival and process departures efficiently and accurately.
  • Respond to guest service requests and inquiries promptly.
  • Assist with group arrivals and departures.
  • Listen for and anticipate guest needs and concerns.
  • Handle guest complaints appropriately and elevate concerns when necessary.
  • Provide information regarding hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
Front Desk Operations
  • Process guest payments according to established policies and procedures.
  • Maintain and balance shift work and cash drawers.
  • Handle incoming phone calls using established Hilton greeting standards.
  • Book and modify guest reservations as needed.
  • Maintain daily logs and communicate important information between shifts.
  • Review Front Office logbooks and communication platforms regularly.
  • Maintain accurate information regarding room availability, reservations, guest requests, and messages through hotel systems. Sales & Revenue Generation
  • Promote and upsell guest rooms and hotel services according to company standards.
  • Assist walk-in guests by identifying room options and maximizing revenue opportunities.
  • Promote Hilton Honors membership and assist guests with enrollment.
Guest Satisfaction & Communication
  • Notify supervisors of incidents affecting guest satisfaction or hotel operations.
  • Review guest feedback platforms and alerts as assigned.
  • Monitor guest requests and ensure timely follow-up and resolution.
  • Work closely with hotel departments to provide seamless service throughout the guest experience.
Qualifications Required
  • Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
Preferred
  • Previous customer service experience.
  • Previous hotel Front Desk experience.
  • Hilton brand experience.
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities.
Work Environment &

Physical Requirements
  • Work is primarily performed in the hotel lobby and Front Office area.
  • Frequent standing and walking throughout scheduled shifts.
  • Regular use of computers, telephones, printers, key machines, copiers, and other office equipment.
  • Frequent reaching, bending, twisting, and handling of materials.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently as needed.
  • Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
