HR Manager; On-Site

Our client is seeking a true HR Manager for a PE backed/high-growth environment to own their people function end to end. This is a hands‑on role for someone who wants real ownership. The right candidate will be comfortable working with blue‑collar employees and focus on employee retention.

• Location: Ocala, FL or Jacksonville, FL - on-site every day, with 25-40% travel between company locations
• Compensation: $70,000-$85,000 salary
• Employment Type: Full-time
• Interview Process: Two steps - one on-site, one virtual

This person will own the HR department as a whole, reporting directly to senior operational leadership.

Core responsibilities include:

• Employee retention:
  Develop and drive strategies to reduce turnover among field technicians, who make up the vast majority of the workforce
• Talent acquisition:
  Lead recruiting efforts for both field and corporate roles
• Payroll oversight and compliance:
  Review payroll processes and provide informed guidance on payroll-related regulatory and compliance matters
• HR infrastructure:
  Come in, learn the operation, and help shape decisions on how the HR function should evolve as the company continues to scale and integrate acquisitions
