Position: IT Support Specialist I

We are looking for a full‑time IT Support Specialist I who is a robust team player. We hire to retire. Join our awesome team of medical and dental professionals today!

Position Location & Travel

Position is based in Marion County and covers 5 sites in Marion, Citrus and Sumter counties and requires daily travel.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide helpdesk support and resolve problems to the end user’s satisfaction
  • Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT helpdesk
  • Monitor project timelines and perform project related tasks
  • Document operations and project procedures
  • Install, test and configure new PCs, software and network devices
  • Maintain inventory of all equipment, software and software licenses
  • Report issues to the Network Administrator for escalation
  • Manage PC setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware, images and software
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange and other Microsoft platforms
  • Working knowledge of Ethernet cabling, routers and switches
Qualifications
  • Associate degree in computer science or related field
  • Two or more years of experience as a computer support specialist
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work without supervision
  • Technical documentation skills
Required Skillsets
  • Microsoft Windows 11 support
  • MS Office and common application support
  • Printing and connectivity support
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange and other Microsoft platforms
  • Working knowledge of Ethernet cabling, routers and switches
