IT Support Specialist

We are looking for a full-time IT Support Specialist I who is a robust team player.

Position is based in Marion County and covers 5 sites in Marion, Citrus and Sumter counties and requires daily travel.

• Provide helpdesk support and resolve problems to the end user’s satisfaction
• Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT helpdesk
• Monitor project timelines and perform project related tasks
• Strong documentation skills related to projects and operational procedures
• Install, test and configure new PC’s, software and network devices
• Maintain inventory of all equipment, software and software licenses
• Report issues to the Network Administrator for escalation
• Manage PC setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware, images and software
• Working knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange and other Microsoft platforms
• Working knowledge of Ethernet cabling, Routers and Switches

• Associate degree in computer science or;
• Two or more years of experience as a computer support specialist
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work without supervision
• Technical Documentation skills

• Microsoft Windows 11 support
• MS Office and common application support
• Printing and connectivity support
• Working knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange and other Microsoft platforms
• Working knowledge of Ethernet cabling, Routers and Switches

• Microsoft HyperV virtualization support
• Microsoft Exchange 2013+
• Microsoft Active Directory
• Microsoft GPO management
