Associate Underwriting Supervisor - Equine

• Coordinate the daily activities of the Equine Underwriting team, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity
• Review processing of new underwriting applications for alignment with company policies and underwriting guidelines
• Review comprehensive risk assessments, policy statuses, and portfolio performance
• Oversee preparation and maintenance of underwriting files
• Facilitate communication with agents and customers to obtain underwriting information and address issues
• Request or generate management reports to monitor unit performance, client satisfaction, and key business metrics
• Oversee data entry and processing to ensure data integrity and prevent systemic issues
• Lead opportunities to streamline procedures and enhance efficiency
• Ensure compliance with company and regulatory guidelines
• Provide technical guidance and training to clients on safety practices and regulatory compliance
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Associate's Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 6 years of underwriting experience or a related field
• Completion of or continuing progress toward a professional designation preferred
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to use data to analyze situations, identify problems, and develop effective solutions
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employment visa sponsorship

Demonstrates expertise in Equine Underwriting, including risk assessment, compliance with regulatory guidelines, and effective communication with agents and clients. Proven ability to analyze data for decision-making and enhance workflow efficiency.
