We are hiring a Maintenance Technician for a long-term, first-shift opportunity in Ocala, FL. This position is in a clean, climate-controlled environment and is ideal for someone with general facilities maintenance experience who enjoys working on a variety of hands-on projects.

Pay: $20 $ 24/hour to start

• Perform general facility maintenance and repairs throughout the building.
• Handle basic electrical work, including changing light bulbs, replacing/rewiring outlets, and wiring light fixtures.
• Complete basic plumbing repairs, including unclogging and snaking drains and replacing bathroom fixtures or components.
• Perform interior and exterior painting and touch-up work.
• Complete minor carpentry and drywall repairs.
• Assist with groundskeeping and general property upkeep.
• Troubleshoot basic facility issues and complete repairs as needed.
• Use common hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Help ensure the facility remains clean, functional, and well maintained.

• Previous facilities maintenance, building maintenance, handyman, or general maintenance experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and painting.
• Comfortable working independently and handling a variety of maintenance tasks.
• Experience using basic hand and power tools.
• Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to troubleshoot basic maintenance issues.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ocala, FL.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
