- People and Operations Management:
- Provide overall direction for the location as an inspirational leader, including meeting agreed upon financial goals and customer satisfaction
- Develop and manage a high performing staff, in terms of performance, efficiency, training, and morale, as well as adherence to company standards
- Hiring and monitoring the performance of the department managers, holding weekly sales meetings and conducting sales training
- Attending to customer complaints, ensuring that a high level of customer satisfaction is obtained
- Inventory Management:
- Overseeing standards for displaying and merchandising both new and used RVs as well as reviewing and initialing all promotions before they are finalized
- Coordinating the appropriate supply of new and used RVs and ordering/acquiring vehicle inventory accordingly
- Auditing all appraisals of trade-in RVs
- Issuing all demonstration RVs and ensuring that appropriate dealership records are maintained
- Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Four-year degree is preferred
- License &
Certifications: - Valid driver’s license and good driving record is required
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the RV industry or comparable experience is highly preferred
- Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication and managerial skills
- Ability to operate the department profitably within dealership guidelines
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations that affect the daily operations of the organization
- Ability to use a computer and other office equipment
