YourRole As a Regional Manager
As a Regional Manager, you will oversee the operations of several multifamily properties across different locations, ensuring financial success, resident satisfaction, and team development. You’ll play a critical role in leading teams, managing budgets, and implementing strategies that ensure each community meets its goals.
What You’ll Do- Portfolio Leadership:
Manage the overall performance of a portfolio of properties, ensuring operational excellence, high occupancy rates, and strong financial performance. - Team Development:
Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to on-site teams, including Community Managers, Assistant Managers, Leasing Consultants, and Maintenance Supervisors. Support their career growth and development while fostering a collaborative and motivated team environment. - Financial Oversight:
Develop and manage property budgets across your region, ensuring that financial goals are met or exceeded. Oversee rent collection, expense management, and capital improvement projects. - Operational Strategy:
Implement strategic initiatives to drive operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve the resident experience. Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and safety standards. - Resident Satisfaction:
Partner with property teams to deliver exceptional customer service and resolve resident concerns promptly, contributing to high retention rates and positive reviews. - Market Analysis & Strategy:
Stay informed about market trends, competitive properties, and demographic shifts in your region. Use data to make informed decisions that enhance the performance of your portfolio. - Collaboration with Leadership:
Work closely with senior management to develop and execute long-term strategies that align with the company’s goals and values.
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent of education and experience preferred.
- 6+ years of experience in property management, with at least 3 years in a regional management or multi-site leadership role.
- Flexible workdays/hours, including on-call for emergency purposes.
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development and performance management.
- Proven experience in budget management, financial analysis, and strategic planning.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Yardi software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel frequently to properties within your region up to 70% of the time.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
