Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site General Manager role based in Ocala, FL. The General Manager will oversee daily business operations, ensure efficient production processes, and drive organizational goals. Responsibilities include strategic planning, team management, operational improvement, resource allocation, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The role requires leadership in fostering a collaborative and productive work environment while meeting the company’s operational and financial objectives for sites in Ocala, FL and Roebuck, SC.
Qualifications- Strong leadership, strategic planning, and team management skills
- Proven experience in operations management, process optimization, and resource allocation
- Knowledge of manufacturing practices, particularly for wire harnesses, cable assemblies, control panels, consoles or electromechanical solutions
- Demonstrable working knowledge and understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement and their importance of driving cycle time and cost out of products produced is required.
- Experience and success in nurturing, growing and strengthening customer and supplier relationships based on strategic management, a bias for action and a track record of results is required.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
- Ability to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Proficiency in relevant business software and tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus)
- Previous experience in a general management or leadership role within the manufacturing industry is preferred
