Position OverviewThe candidate will operate CNC mills and lathes (3-axis) in a production environment, manufacturing high-volume parts used in the company’s products. This role involves machine operation, part inspection, and basic setup responsibilities.
Responsibilities- Operate CNC mills and lathes to produce parts
- Run production jobs with high volume output
- Select and run programs based on work orders and blueprints
- Inspect finished parts using measuring tools
- Perform basic setups and change out tooling as needed
- Complete 2–3 machine setups per day
- Work with materials such as iron, brass, stainless steel, aluminum, and occasional plastics
- CNC machining experience or exposure
- Ability to read blueprints
- Experience using calipers and micrometers
- Basic understanding of CNC operations
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ocala, FL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
