Job Description:
You will be a Manufacturing Engineer for the Ocala Operations team.
Our team is responsible for delivering high mix, high volume circuit card, wiring harness, and electro assembly production across multi shift facilities.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Engineer you will be responsible for driving process stability, improving productivity, and ensuring product quality in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Design, implement, and refine manufacturing processes for wiring harness production.
• Lead root cause investigations and develop corrective actions to reduce defects and rework.
• Collaborate with operations and quality teams to achieve on time delivery and compliance with specifications.
• Evaluate equipment performance and recommend upgrades or automation enhancements where appropriate.
• Document and standardize work instructions, process parameters, and best practice guidelines.
Required Experience:
Relevant engineering degree with 5+ years of cable and harness manufacturing experience IAW IPC-A-620, or 10+ years experience with no degree.
5+ years experience working with benchtop cable and harness equipment (wire strippers, Cirris testers, automatic crimpers, etc.) including F crimp processing.
