Requisition

Scope

Responsible for the movement, storage, and verification of material in accordance with policies and procedures. Perform clerical duties requiring analysis and good judgment. May have routine contact with customers, suppliers, and other departments. Will include working with numbers and operation of simple office machines such as calculator and computer.

Essential Functions

Handle a variety of shipping methods (UPS, Fed Ex, ground carriers, domestic and international) including proper shipping, scheduling, and arrangements for pickups.
Perform proper packing, wrapping, and preparation of packages and documentation following established shipping procedures.
Proper handling of material, including unloading from delivery vehicles, verification and receiving of material, proper storage, and picking material to support production requirements.
Proper picking of material which may include delivery to a specific location and/or line‑side storage.
Perform clerical functions in accordance with policies and procedures.
Interplant transfers (transfer and ordering process).
Warehouse organization, 5S, building/maintaining carts, and racking (including cleaning).
Job includes standing, walking, squatting, kneeling, and bending activities, use of ladders to reach storage areas, and the ability to lift 40 pounds of material.
Follow work standards.
Must be able to perform within physical requirements including, but not limited to 40‑lb single lift; walking, kneeling, squatting and standing for long periods of time.

Other Duties (May Include)

Perform or assist with any operations as required or directed to maintain workflow or respond to production requirements.
May be required to perform other duties not listed but needed by Supervisor to keep trucks on schedule.
